MISSION

Advancing equitable systems

Kasa Strategies LLC works at the intersection of public policy and public health to support institutions in designing and implementing strategies that advance equity, strengthen systems, and improve community well-being for all.

VISION

A recalibrated Massachusetts

To help shape a Massachusetts where institutions and systems are actively recalibrating to produce equitable, sustainable, and thriving communities for all.

Built on experience leading from inside institutions.

Our founder transitions into advisory work after nearly a decade of leadership in state government and non-profit organizations. Having served as a senior leader within large, complex systems, Alyssa Benalfew-Ramos brings an insider’s perspective to the challenges of driving institutional change.

Unlike firms that specialize in only one discipline, we integrate:

We tie these diverse domains into one cohesive advisory practice, ensuring that every strategy is grounded in operational reality, aligned with policy objectives, and designed for maximum community health impact.

Founder & Principal

Public Policy Executive & Public Health Practitioner

"My personal goal is centered on the social and political determinants of health, reducing racial and economic disparities, and ensuring communities have the information, resources, and support to make informed decisions."

My commitment to this work is deeply personal, shaped by what I witnessed growing up and the barriers I saw families like mine face navigating complex systems. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to (re)building structures that empower communities to advocate for themselves and achieve the changes they are seeking.

It reinforced my belief that effective policy and strategy must combine systemic solutions with empowerment of those most impacted. Combined with lived experience and a nuanced understanding of organizational dynamics, this foundation enables me to help leaders translate strategy into tangible, lasting impact for the communities and stakeholders they serve.
